Sells financial products and services to clients for investment purposes by performing the following duties.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Create and implement branch sales culture by encouraging branch referrals to Investment program.
  • Works closely with VP/Branch Administration and senior bank management to promote investment culture within the branch network.
  • Develops branch relationships through training and incentive programs for branch personnel.
  • Identifies potential clients using advertising campaigns mailing lists and personal contacts.
  • Monitors branch referral activity and reports sales progress for Senior Management.
  • Solicits business from potential clients.
  • Interviews clients to determine financial positions, resources, assets available to invest, and financial goals.
  • Provides clients with information and advice on purchase or sale of securities, financial services and investment plans.
  • Completes sales order tickets and submits completed tickets to support personnel for processing of client requested transaction.
  • Reads status reports and performs calculations to monitor client accounts and verify transactions.
  • Develops and implements financial plans and sells insurance, real estate or securities.



Supervises investment services assistant(s).

NASD Series 7, 63 and Massachusetts Life, Accident and health insurance licenses required.



Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Maintains necessary industry continuing education to maintain licensing status.
